The big blue Nosy Be

A day on the Grand Terre with some of the staff of the Grand Bleu February 2019

We arrive in Ankify, a 10-seater Starex car is waiting for us, to reach the cocoa capital of Madagascar: Ambanja.

Then the Ambanja market, after a short stop on the road where we see the people picking the cocoa bugs.

This allows some of the staff to visit their families on Grande Terre. Even some on vacation (*) joined our great escape. (*) Staff are entitled to 5 weeks of paid leave.

The arrival in Ambanja, and as every year, we organize a pedicab race, between the city market and the bridge that spans the Sambirano river, on the outskirts of Ambanja.

This year, Bruno, technical manager of the Big Blue, which gives the "go-ahead" of the pedicab race, with the staff.

Before the return, we will have lunch at the Khair Lodge in Ambanja. On the menu: chicken or squid of your choice, with ... rice... Obviously. A beautiful day of relaxation for
