The hotel offers TOUR OF NOSY BE ISLAND BY TAXI WITH A DRIVER.
It is the ideal solution to discover Nosy Be through its history, its culture, starting either by visiting its sacred sites (the sacred tree or the sacred waterfall) or its capital, AS YOU WANT.
It is a Departure from the Grand Bleu in your time, to discover the island of Nosy Be and its capital, with the frenetic pace of its population, its shops and its large covered spice market that make the particularity of the local cuisine without forgetting the vestiges and history left by the colonial era. Not to mention also the port market (going down to the right of the main roundabout "Le Marché"), "make the Champs-Elysées" and its few shops, (facing the covered market), and then have lunch.
You will know, if you wish, the island through the visit of the ylang-ylang distillery in Lemurialand, we recommend it for children from 1 year to 90 years! You can also go through the Sacred Tree and its small historical museum.
The capital of Nosy Be owes its European name to Admiral Hell, former governor of Reunion Island, who signed a protectorate treaty in 1840 with Queen Sakalav Tsiomeko, then seriously threatened by the expansion of the Merina monarchy and refugee in Nosy Be.
You can also ask your driver to take you to the main port of Hell Ville which offers itself by the opening of a small shallow bay, extended by a cove. Here, no beach, no pebbles either, only the grayish silt recalls the presence of the mangrove system, very widespread in this region.
Very crowded, the docks are home to a few rusty coasters, refuelers of small tonnages, as well as "hulls" of all kinds. These "shells" can depending on their more or less marked use, adopt very different shapes, sizes, silhouettes, and yet keep the name of "hulls".
It is a very nice excursion that allows you to discover in a very personalized way the tour of the island and its capital. We recommend.

We did this excursion proposed by Jacques and Céline. It allowed us to discover the capital of the island, the market, the avenue with houses of the time, the Lemurland Park and the Sacred Tree.
A very nice excursion that we recommend.
